(1) For the thick wall bearing with adjusting gasket between the two half pads, the thickness of the gasket at the pad mouth can be increased or decreased, the radial clearance of the bearing pad can be changed, and the contact surface of the bearing pad can be checked and scraped by the coloring method.

If there is a pad clearance adjusting angle iron, the radial clearance of the bearing pad can be changed by adjusting the angle iron. The contact surface between the angle iron and the connecting rod head body and the back of the pad shall be inspected by coloring method. After grinding and scraping, it shall reach more than 70% and be evenly distributed.

Check and grind the contact surface between the back of the tile and the hole of the tile with the coloring method, so that the two sides are in close contact with each other, and the bottom is slightly light (in case that the back of the tile can fully fit due to the elastic reason when the two half of the bearing pads are tightened).

(2) For the thin-walled tile, because it has four characteristics: small specific pressure, large elasticity, fast heat conduction and high precision, it is generally not to be scratched, and it is also not adjustable, and there is no adjusting gasket between the two half tiles.
