1 General safety requirements
The operators of compressor must be formally trained and can operate on the basis of being familiar with the structure, principle and instructions of compressor as well as correctly mastering the operation methods and safety precautions.
Do not start the compressor easily without careful safety inspection.
Any operation in violation of safety regulations may cause damage to equipment or endanger personal safety.
Before changing any part of the compressor system, contact the design department of the manufacturer in advance.
2 safety requirements for pressure parts
The buffer tank, intercooler, gas-liquid separator and gas storage tank in the compressor gas circuit system are all pressure parts. If they are pressure vessels, the user shall contact the local labor department before installation and accept supervision.
Safety valves and safety accessories shall be properly maintained and regularly calibrated.
It is forbidden to operate the compressor system over temperature and over pressure.
When the compressor is in operation or there is pressure in the system, do not tighten the bolts or remove the pressure parts (including crankcase plug and cover)
3 fire and explosion protection requirements
For compressors that compress flammable, explosive or toxic gases, their installation, use and operation shall comply with relevant regulations.
The air in the compressor system must be replaced with nitrogen or inert gas before the introduction of flammable and explosive gas.
Measures shall be taken to prevent accumulation of harmful gas after leakage in the station building. In the gas system, the external discharge port (relief port of safety valve, drain port of cooler, etc.) shall be connected with conduit to lead to the outdoor safety zone for venting or gas collection and recovery.
Electrical equipment shall meet the requirements of explosion-proof grade required for compressed media.
4 lubricating oil requirements
The compressor shall use the lubricating oil of the brand designated by the manufacturer, and its quality requirements shall meet the standards. Different types of lubricating oil shall not be mixed.
The lubricating oil should be changed regularly.
5 cooling water requirements
The cooling water shall be kept clean to prevent scaling.
The quality requirements of cooling water are:
1.5.1 organic and mechanical impurities and suspended solids shall be less than 100mg / L and oil content shall be less than 5mg / L;
1.5.2 it is close to neutral, i.e. pH value is 6.5-9;
1.5.3 it has thermal stability, and the temporary hardness is less than 10 ° (Note: hardness 1 ° is equivalent to 1L of water, containing 10mg of CaO or 19mg of MgO)
If the water quality does not meet the above requirements, it shall be filtered and purified.
Urban tap water is allowed to be used as cooling water.
6 personal protection
During the operation of compressor, personnel or clothes shall not contact the moving parts such as drive belt, chain, coupling fan blade, etc
Do not touch the cylinder wall or exhaust pipe to avoid scalding
7 electrical requirement
The installation and maintenance of electrical equipment of compressor shall conform to the relevant regulations of electrical safety.
The operator must hold the corresponding electrician operation certificate and work under the guidance of the electrical technician. Before electrical maintenance, the power supply shall be cut off, and a special person shall be assigned for monitoring and warning signs.
8 safety requirements for hoisting
The carrying capacity of hoisting equipment and lifting appliances shall meet the requirements of the hoisting equipment. During hoisting, attention shall be paid to personal and equipment safety. The packing box is generally made of magnesite concrete and lifted as shown in Fig
The included angle between the lifting rope and the top plate shall not be less than 45 °. If it is less than 45 °, auxiliary support must be added between the lifting ropes (its length is equal to the width of the bottom plate).
