Tank cleaning:

First, check the protective paint in the oil tank. The paint layer at the bottom of the oil immersed part should be removed by sandblasting or manually after baking with blowtorch or liquefied gas flame; the paint layer at the top of the oil tank that is not immersed in oil should not be removed, because it cannot be immersed in oil and easy to rust.

If the quality of the top paint is too poor, the oil and temperature resistant paint shall be repainted after removal. After the paint layer is removed, the oil tank shall be cleaned thoroughly with gasoline, and the remaining dirt or cloth fiber shall be stuck out with flour dough.

After cleaning, the oil tank shall be filled with flushing oil immediately. The oil shall be filled through the filter press to avoid the entry of sundries. The oil filling amount shall be greater than 60% of the oil storage to ensure the smooth oil absorption of the oil pump.

Cleaning of oil filter:

First remove the oil filter core, and then check the internal paint. If the paint is good, just clean it with gasoline and then dry up the dirt with flour, otherwise, sand blasting should also be carried out.

After sandblasting, carefully blow away the remaining sand with compressed air, and use flour to stick away the possible small sand particles. After cleaning, fill with flushing oil and cover the end cover.

How to clean the oil system components of air compressor

Cleaning of oil cooler:

For oil cooler, core pulling inspection should be carried out. If chemical cleaning is required for wall or tube rust and dirt, it must be degreased first. If not degreased and pickled first, then frothy dirt coming from chemical changes of acid and grease will be difficult to eliminate.

Degreasing treatment is generally steam degreasing or using dichloroethane or trichloroethane degreasing.

After degreasing, the inner cylinder can be treated by acid pickling or sand blasting, but the sand must be cleaned strictly when sand blasting is used.

If the surface of the pipe is seriously rusted, chemical cleaning shall be carried out.

If there is a little impurity and dirt, use steam or compressed air to blow them out.

After the oil cooler is cleaned and reassembled, the pressure test shall be carried out. The oil chamber shall be bulged with oil for pressure test. The water chamber can be used for pressure test. If there is no condition for oil pressure test, the oil chamber can not be used for oil pressure test.

After pressure test, the oil chamber shall be filled with flushing oil.

Cleaning of oil accumulator:

The oil accumulators are all stainless steel or stainless steel lined containers, which can be cleaned only by compressed air.

Cleaning of high-level oil tank:

Before installation, the high-level oil tank shall be sandblasted or pickled.

Cleaning of bearing box:

Open the cover of bearing box to thoroughly remove the sundries, and stick the dirt off with flour ball.

Cleaning of stainless steel pipe:

All stainless steel pipes shall be manually cleaned in sections before installation.

First, use the old cloth to wrap the self-made mop of the thin round steel rod to pull it back and forth in the pipe, then wash it with a lot of hot water, and finally dry it. Argon arc welding shall be adopted for pipeline welding to avoid welding slag inside, and the root shall be fully welded to avoid dirt.

Cleaning of carbon steel pipe:

Sand blasting shall be adopted for the carbon steel pipe above dn75, i.e. the so-called large pipe. After the sand blasting, the remaining sand shall be poured out immediately, and the wood hammer shall be used to knock and shake, so as to clean the sand as much as possible, and then the compressed air shall be used to blow it carefully.

Finally, the inner surface shall be coated with oil protection, and both ends of the pipe shall be closed for installation.

However, it should be noted that the sand cleaning work after sand blasting must be very strict and careful, otherwise it will be difficult to remove the sand brought into the oil system.

When oiling the inner surface, pay attention not to wipe it with cotton yarn or old cloth, otherwise, there will be a large amount of fiber remaining in the oil system.

When applying oil, the two ends of the pipeline can be temporarily blocked with thin blind plates or wooden plugs, then the oil is poured in and rolled back and forth, so that the oil film can cover all internal surfaces.

For the carbon steel pipe below dn75, the so-called small pipe, first observe whether there is large soil and stone inside the pipe, and knock the pipe with a wooden hammer to pour out the sundries.

Then use a wire brush, preferably a disc wire brush to tie the inside of the pipe.

After mechanical cleaning, the pipeline shall be immersed in acid pickling tank for 4 ~ 5h. Take it out and wash it with clear water (preferably hot water), then put it into alkali washing tank for neutralization for 10-20min.

After taking it out, wash it with water, and check the pH of water with litmus test paper. When it is confirmed that the flushed water is neutral, heat it on the pipe wall with steam to make the water in the pipe evaporate dry. Finally, pour oil to protect it and seal the end with wooden plug or plastic cloth.

Where there is grease protection in the original pipe, it is necessary to blow off the degreasing with steam, or degrease with dichloroethane, trichloroethane, etc.

The accessories in the cleaning oil system of pipeline accessories, including sight glass, pipe fittings, valves and tees, shall be cleaned carefully.

If there is any incomplete weld in the pipeline, it shall be repaired, if there is any weld beading, it shall be removed, and the inner flange weld shall be smooth and full, so as to avoid sundries remaining on the dead corner.

When welding tee pipe on the pipeline, the pipeline shall be cut well, and the groove shall be grinded before cleaning, and the hydrogen arc welding shall be used for backing during assembly.
